POSITION: Controller

General Summary:
The Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of Dynamic Conveyor Corporation, ensuring
accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with applicable laws and Company finance policy. This role requires both
strategic insight and hands-on accounting expertise, supporting management in making informed financial
decisions to drive business growth.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Establish and monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations and corporate
policies.
• Manages day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and
general ledger.
• Conducts cost analysis to support pricing strategies, operational efficiency, and profitability
improvement.
o Evaluate manufacturing costs including labor, materials, and overhead to identify trends and
opportunities for cost savings.
o Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure accurate job costing and inventory
valuation.
o Analyze standard costs versus actual costs and report variances with actionable insights.
o Assist in the development and refinement of cost accounting systems to better track and
manage product costs.
• Analyze financial data and provide detailed reports to inform strategic business decisions.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships to ensure financial stability.
• Supports the annual budget planning process and provides ongoing budget-to-actual variance analysis.
• Coordinate year-end financial close and collaborate with external accountants and auditors.
• Develop and implement effective financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist with preparation and filing of federal, state, and local taxes.
• Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience with 2-3 years manufacturing experience
preferred.
• Manufacturing industry experience required; experience with cost accounting in a production
environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial compliance, and cost analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems with ability to learn new systems as required.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
