Kim Fear’s session on multi-generational leadership was a standout, offering strategies to create shared culture across Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, Gen Z, and Gen Alpha. Key takeaways:

In a panel discussion, CPG leaders stressed the importance of standardized, bite-sized training for operators. AI is increasingly used to summarize OEM manuals, making training more accessible. Visuals, bilingual resources, and off-site learning were cited as best practices for effective onboarding.

Jorge Izquierco’s State of the Industry report projected growth in 2026–2027 despite current uncertainty. Trends include:

  • Surge in dairy and ready-to-eat segments.
  • Increased adoption of thermoplastic belting and dry-cleaning methods.
  • Automation and robotics as key strategies to offset labor shortages.

Tariff challenges remain a concern, with rates ranging from 10–41%, impacting profitability and investment decisions.

Sales & AI: The Future is Now

Matt Neuberger’s session underscored that AI is reshaping sales. With 91% of buyers using LLMs for research, sales teams must leverage AI tools to stay competitive. The message was clear: adapt or fall behind.
