Staff Accountant – Part Time

POSITION: Staff Accountant
FLSA: Part-Time, Hourly (20-30 hours per week, flexible based on business needs)
Salary Range: $25.00 – $27.50

General Summary:
The Staff Accountant will support the financial operations of our organization, a growing custom conveyor
manufacturing company. This position is responsible for day-to-day accounting functions including accounts
payable, accounts receivable, and financial record maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong
organizational skills, manufacturing accounting experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced
industrial environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Process vendor invoices and maintain accounts payable records
2. Generate customer invoices and assist with collections and accounts receivable tracking
3. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
4. Assist with employee expense reporting
5. Support month-end and year-end closing activities
6. Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
7. Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation
8. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
9. Assist external accountants and auditors as needed
10. Perform additional administrative and accounting duties as assigned

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
3. Manufacturing or industrial accounting experience preferred.
4. Experience with ERP/accounting software and Microsoft 365 Suite, including Excel
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
6. Excellent communication and organizational skills
7. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
8. High level of integrity and confidentiality
