The DynaCon metal detection conveyor provides reliable detection of all metals including steel, aluminum, copper, brass and stainless steel.  The metal detection coil is integrated into a standard 17-1/2" module in widths ranging from 4" to 72" and can replace an existing module or be added to any new DynaCon conveyor.

The Metal Detector Module controls are easy to use, and permit sensors to operate in extreme temperature variations without affecting the performance of the system. Electronic controls have built-in diagnostics circuit, which monitors all functions of the unit's metal detector. In the event of a fault, the conveyor will be stopped when optional relay contacts are used. Audible and/or visual alarms are optional. After initial start-up, controls automatically adjust to the environment in order to provide the best possible balance.

Primarily used by plastic molders, the Metal Detector Module is an ideal system for inspecting plastic scrap for metal contaminants as scrap is conveyed to grinders for granulating and reuse. Early detection of metal can prevent severe damage to grinder blades and subsequent fouling of injection systems and molded plastic products (where product liability issues could result).
